A Person Centred Approach
Focusing is a person-centred approach to therapy that can benefit a great many people. At Inner Focus I provide focusing sessions and adult and children’s counselling training programs for school staff, parents, foster parents, and carers, mental health practitioners and therapists, as well as those wishing to work on their own individual personal development.

Therapists and Counsellors
As a therapist, counsellor, or mental health practitioner, you’ll be required to undertake at least 30 hours or continued professional development each year.
Our BFA Focusing skills course and Children’s Focusing training course are each 60 hours duration, giving you more than your required CPD – and a new skill you can use to facilitate deep lasting change within those clients/patients/subjects you’re working with.
Individual Personal Development

Personal Development
For those individuals searching for personal development and self-help, focusing will help you experience deep contact with yourself, and a new sense of trust with your own body.
This can lead to greater calm, a deeper relationship with your emotional state, and more resources to deal with the ‘unblocking’ of issues that have been keeping you ‘stuck’ for however long.
A Safe Space
I like to think of my practice as a warm and welcoming shelter from the cold, where those parts of ourselves that feel so unlovable and not good enough out there in the world can feel welcome and respected, seen and heard.
In the safe space of my counselling room you can be confident in the knowledge that whatever you share is treated confidentially and held with the utmost respect.
My Approach
My way of working is particularly suited to you if you're experiencing any kind of anxiety - including social anxiety, panic, depression or relationship issues.
I offer a free 30-minute no-obligation initial consultation to all prospective clients. I do this from an ethical commitment to enable you to explore and find the right therapist for you without it being a costly process
