Counselling Centre for Children and Adults
Inner Focus is a new counselling centre based in Long Stratton, Norfolk. We provide Person-Centred Counselling and specialise in a model of humanistic counselling called Focusing-Oriented Psychotherapy.
Our counsellor Sara Bradly, is a highly experienced therapist and is qualified to work with both adults and children. She has a masters degree in Counselling from the University of East Anglia, and additionally holds a post qualification diploma in Child and Adolescent Counselling from Iron Mill College, and a post graduate certificate in Focusing-Oriented Psychotherapy from the International Focusing Institute, New York. Sara is a registered member of BACP (the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy).
If you are looking for therapy for your child, we have a special room full of toys, games, play dough, sand tray, art materials, figures, etc. Children tend to express their feelings and emotions best through play or other creative mediums. We can help your child with their difficult feelings by giving them the opportunity to express what is going on for them in a child-led, child-friendly environment. Whether your child is angry, anxious, has low self-esteem, or is experiencing the sadness of loss in some way, we are here for them.
If you're looking for therapy for yourself then you have a choice of what type of therapy you'd like. You might like talking therapy, you might like to work creatively with art, sand tray, or body mapping, or you might like to be guided in a gentle intervention to connect with an embodied sense of your issue. These are all options that are offered by Inner Focus.
We aim to provide a professional, safe, empathic, non-judgemental service where the feelings of all our clients can find expression and a way to move forward positively in their lives.
